World AIDS Day 2014

World AIDS Day 2014 is on Monday 1st December and is an opportunity for people all over the world to unite in the fight against HIV, to show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. At the British School of Osteopathy we run two weekly clinics specialising in treating patients with HIV and AIDS. The Chapman Clinic runs three times a week in our Southwark-based teaching clinic. We also run a weekly clinic at The Royal Free Hospital’s Ian Charleson Day Centre in north-west London, which is generously supported by the Peter Moores Foundation....(more)

BSO Patient goes for gold

BSO patient Simon Randerson has been on an amazing winning streak. First of all, he returned from the World Transplant Games in Durban with a handful of medals: one gold, three silver and one bronze. Chapman Clinic awarded £20,000 by the Peter Moores Foundation

I am delighted to announce that the British School of Osteopathy’s Chapman Clinic has been awarded £20,000 by the Peter Moores Foundation. For the past ten years, the Chapman Clinic has helped hundreds of people with HIV and AIDS benefit from free osteopathic treatment. Patients with HIV and AIDS can often suffer from musculo-skeletal problems related to their diagnosis and in many cases, as a side effect of drug therapy. Osteopathy can alleviate this discomfort and help patients enjoy a better quality of life....(more)

British School of Osteopathy’s Chapman Clinic celebrates ten years of treating people with HIV
