World AIDS Day 2014

World AIDS Day 2014 is on Monday 1st December and is an opportunity for people all over the world to unite in the fight against HIV, to show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. At the British School of Osteopathy we run two weekly clinics specialising in treating patients with HIV and AIDS. The Chapman Clinic runs three times a week in our Southwark-based teaching clinic. We also run a weekly clinic at The Royal Free Hospital’s Ian Charleson Day Centre in north-west London, which is generously supported by the Peter Moores Foundation....(more)

The BSO at War

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. On this day people across the nation pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by our brave service men and women. As this year marks the Centenary of the First World War, we have asked National Osteopathic Archive historian and author, John O'Brien, to write a piece about the British School of Osteopathy during the early part of the 20th Century and how osteopaths contributed to the war effort by offering their skills to injured soldiers....(more)

The Mercers' Company continues to support our clinics for older people

We are delighted to announce that the Mercers' Company has generously made a donation of £10,000 to be used to fund our clinics for older people. The Mercers’ Company is one of the 110 Livery Companies of the City of London. The Company and its associated charitable trusts makes substantial grants to support education, general welfare, church and faith and arts and heritage. CPD: Anatomy, Dissection & Pathology

Our brand new Anatomy, Dissection & Pathology course ran for the first time on 22nd March with great reviews from all of the attendees.
