Graduation 2014

On 18th November, nearly one hundred new osteopaths and twenty postgraduates received their degrees in the spectacular surroundings of Methodist Central Hall. Located in the shadow of Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, Central Hall is one of London's iconic venues and an apt place to celebrate the many academic and personal achievements of our graduands. The ceremony was overseen by John Lant, Chairman of the Board, Charles Hunt, Principal of the BSO, and Bill Rammell, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bedfordshire all of whom spoke of the excitement, opportunities and challenges of being a new graduate....(more)

Class of 2012

Graduation is always an exciting time for the British School of Osteopathy. This year, we welcomed graduands and their friends and family to the Mermaid Conference Centre to celebrate their achievements on Friday 2 November. Overlooking the Thames, Blackfriars Bridge and the Southbank, the Mermaid provided a fitting location for what was a happy and reflective ceremony....(more)

Graduation 2008

HRH The Princess Royal, the BSO’s Patron, presented Batchelor of Osteopathy degree certificates from the BSO and the University of Bedfordshire to 91 students at this year’s graduation ceremony which was held on 16 October 2008 at the Royal Festival Hall, central London. Students receiving their awards were watched by family, friends, BSO staff and special guests including Evlynne Gilvarry Chief Executive and Registrar of General Osteopathic Council and the Mayors of Southwark and Lambeth, Councillor Eliza Mann and Councillor Angela Meader respectively. A number of the BSO’s Vice Patrons were also in attendance, including Earl Ferrers and Dame Beryl Grey DBE....(more)

BSO Awards Gold Medal for Student Achievement

The BSO has this year awarded its highest honour to a final year student. As students received the results of their final exams on Friday 19 June, it was announced that Enda Butler, 35, had been awarded the BSO's Gold Medal. This award is given to students who have demonstrated high academic achievement throughout their studies, who have contributed to the student body and the School, and who are also expected to become a future leader in the osteopathic profession....(more)

Congratulations to the Class of 2011

Nearly ninety graduands gathered at Queen Elizabeth Hall in the London South Bank Centre on 3 November 2011 to receive their degrees. This is only the second year to have graduated with our unique Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost) degree and our students continue to excel, with 12 students achieving a distinction this year. The Faculty also awarded 10 prizes for outstanding students, with Hollie Barter winning the Principal’s Prize for Clinical Excellence and Lisa Dennison winning the Silver Medal for best overall performance in the final two years of the course....(more)
