The British School of Osteopathy is proud to be a partner of #Giving Tuesday. It’s a simple concept – asking everyone to donate time, money or words to help the causes that they believe in.

We want to encourage everyone to get involved – and we would love you to choose the BSO as the charity that you want to support. As you know, we do amazing work in the community, providing free healthcare to people living with HIV, people who are homeless, babies and children and older adults every week. We know that we help many vulnerable people to manage their pain and we hear regularly from our patients about the difference that is made to individual lives.

“An outstanding factor of my experience is the excellence and expertise of the Chapman Clinic supervising tutors.  They are consistent in their approach with incredible sensitivity and encouragement.  Under their well-informed guidance I have received exemplary treatment from many remarkable and gifted students.  Together they create a holistic and safe environment where the proven results greatly enhance the quality of my life -- the standard of care and understanding achieved in the process throughout is second to none.”

There are many ways that you can support the BSO on #Giving Tuesday:

  • Bring in some books that you no longer need for our second-hand book stall in the clinic
  • Sign up to a monthly or one-off contribution on our Justgiving page
  • Plan a sponsored run, bake sale or other activity of your choice to undertake for the BSO
  • Sort out some old warm clothes that you don’t need, that we can pass on to people who are homeless at the Manna Centre when our students and tutors attend on Wednesdays for our free clinic
  • Share some of our information about our clinics on your own social media – we have powerful networks and there are potential patients out there who don’t yet know about the work we do and the ways they could benefit
  • Text PAIN17 to 70070 followed by an amount to make an instant donation to our charitable work

Any one of these actions would be a fantastic contribution to the School and a perfect Christmas gift for the people who need it most. Thank you in advance for being a BSO supporter – we are incredibly grateful for everything that our staff, students, alumni, patients and friends do to make our work possible.
